Jason Preusser Promoted to Senior Project Manager

Jason PreusserWe are proud to announce the promotion of Jason Preusser to senior project manager, recognizing his outstanding leadership within the company.

Preusser joined Morcon in 2007 after earning a degree in construction management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. From his early days assisting on one of Morcon’s largest projects at the time—the $20 million Northstar Maintenance Facility for Metro Transit— Preusser has continually proven his ability to take on complex challenges with integrity and determination.

Over the years, Preusser’s career at Morcon has grown in parallel with the company itself. He has led a wide range of projects, from small-scale renovations to multi-phased airport contracts. For the past six years, Preusser has played a key role in Morcon’s ongoing work at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP), leading a series of successful projects at Terminal 1, including a full renovation of the ticketing and baggage handling areas. He is currently managing Phase II of the airport’s $109 million Safety and Security Center project.

One of Preusser’s most notable accomplishments to date was managing the South Exit and Façade Expansion project at MSP—a challenging, multi-phased project that involved intricate structural work and significant logistical hurdles. Through close collaboration between Preusser and the project superintendent, and a creative approach to unforeseen conditions, the Morcon team successfully guided the project to completion.

Beyond his project work, Preusser has emerged as a mentor and leader among Morcon’s project management team. “I’m most excited to continue working with newer personnel as they come in and help them find a successful career path,” Jason shared. “I’ve been lucky to grow with Morcon, and I want to support others on that same journey.”

Preusser attributes much of his success to Morcon’s collaborative culture and values-driven approach to construction. “Morcon’s commitment to integrity and treating people well has always stood out to me. It’s one of the reasons I’ve built my career here.”

As Morcon continues to take on larger and more complex projects, Preusser’s promotion reflects the company’s investment in both quality leadership and long-term success.

“Jason is a key part of our future,” said Tony Peterson, President at Morcon Construction. “He brings a commitment to collaboration, a growth mind-set, and the kind of attitude that strengthens our entire team. This promotion is well-deserved.”
