MCF St Cloud Intake & Loading Dock Close to Completion

As the project nears completion, things are looking great at the Minnesota Department of Corrections, St. Cloud facility. The new intake, warehouse, loading dock construction and interior remodel will help increase function and security of the prison, which currently serves as the central intake processing approximately 700–800 offenders into and out of the facility each month. Work included a new intake unit complete with a new secure vehicle sallyport and a new loading dock with secure connection to a central warehouse. The existing laundry facility and storage area have been relocated. Upgrades to facility infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and security systems, were also made, improving the overall integration and efficiency of the systems.
