Fridley, MN

As phase II of a three-phase project, during the summer of 2017, Morcon was hired to renovate the oldest building in the district, Fridley Middle School. The main goals of the project were to increase safety and security and bring the building up to code. The school’s main entrance was renovated to include additional windows with clear views of the parking lot. Security updates also included a new fire suppression system, the installation of high-end security doors, and a more efficient drop-off and pick-up area. Upgrades were also made to the schools outdated technology, including new data cables throughout the facility and upgraded server room to support increased capacity.
